EDUC 354 Classroom Management for Middle Childhood, Adolescent/Young Adult and Multi-Age

Candidates study the philosophy and structure of classroom environments and construct management strategies that impact the following: curriculum, instruction, classroom climate, student behavior, and attitude management. Candidates incorporate these skills into their field experience, while developing skills such as working collaboratively with school personnel, managing and preventing inappropriate student behavior, and designing learning environments for all students. This course is part of the junior methods field experience and should be scheduled with EDUC 302, EDUC 303, EDUC 415, and appropriate methods classes for various licenses.
