EDUC 350 Early Intervention

This course provides a cross-disciplinary examination of the major tenets guiding practice in the field of primary education from historical and philosophical perspectives. Various models of delivery systems are examined to guide the student in the formulation of a philosophy of primary education. The course emphasizes knowledge and skills necessary for effective and resourceful primary education teachers of all children, including the special requirements of educating preschool children and the environments of teaching in a Pre-K through grade 5 classroom.
