OCTH 505 Neuroscience for Occupational Therapy

This course covers the study of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and neuropathology with the interrelationships of the nervous system development and structure. It also provides an introduction to theories and research regarding postural and motor control, motor learning and applied neuroanatomy/physiology with model and cadaver laboratory sessions. Laboratory experiences include clinical case studies to help clarify the functional implication correlated with neurological disruption that occupational therapists typically see in practice.
