OCTH 516 Professional Roles and Ethics in Occupational Therapy

This course provides an overview of the responsibilities of an occupational therapist as an effective and ethical practitioner. Review of national, state and local professional standards, national health care requirements and political influence on the profession will occur. Roles and responsibilities of supervision, continued competency and advocacy are explored.
