OCTH 533 Clinical Practice in Occupational Therapy II: Biopsychosocial

This course explores the practice implications of biopsychosocial theories, frames of reference and practice models used in occupational therapy to address occupational performance deficits across the lifespan. Lectures focus on theories based on the most contemporary research evidence, while integrated lab experiences provide opportunities for practical application and the acquisition of knowledge and techniques necessary for evidence-based practice when implementing occupational therapy assessments and treatment interventions for individuals and populations.
