OCTH 523 Human Anatomical Structures

This course is a study of human gross anatomy, including the interrelationship of neuromuscular and skeletal development, anatomical characteristics of tissues and internal organ systems and the appreciation of differences in surface anatomy among individuals. Case studies are used to foster the development of critical thinking and to emphasize the application of the study of anatomy to occupational therapy practice. Laboratory sessions include cadaver dissection, anatomical specimens, bones, models and radiographs.
