Chapter 31-Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment

Policy

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E), sometimes referred to as the Chapter 31 program, provides services to eligible Service members and Veterans with service-connected disabilities to help them prepare for, obtain, and maintain suitable employment or achieve independence in daily living.

The University will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries or other institutional facilities, or require the student to borrow funds to cover the individual’s financial obligation due to the delayed disbursement of a payment by the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
