ENGL 307 Critical Perspectives of Nature, Technology, Society, and Culture

This course examines the relationship between nature and technology from both historical and contemporary perspectives. The impact of technology on nature, society, and culture is also examined. Students will read, discuss, and critique representative examples of fiction and non-fiction literature with nature and technology themes. Students will also apply critical and analytical thinking skills to predict the social, environmental, and cultural impact of technology as well as practical responses to technology in the workplace.
