ENGL 361 Topics in Public and Professional Writing
This variable-topics course offers in-depth study of significant issues related to public and professional writing. Possible topics may include advanced writing as related to issues of public health, civil discourse, the environment, popular culture, digital media, or government. Critical discourse analysis of modern culture as well as civil discourse, community-based writing, and advanced argument may also be covered. This writing and reading-intensive course may be taken twice for a total of six credit hours, provided the topics are different.
