ENGL 321 Instructions and Manuals: Design and Usability

Students will learn how to design and usability-test effective online and hard copy instructions and manuals. The course will focus on the following topics: situational analysis, audience analysis, structure, style, design for selective reading, and graphics. Students will also learn how to design and implement usability tests for instructions and manuals.
