Noise
To promote an atmosphere conducive to study, all noise should remain at a low volume. The expectation of exercising common courtesy is in effect 24 hours a day. Noise coming from any persons or item should barely be audible in adjacent rooms or hallways. In addition, playing amplified sound out windows or in public/common spaces will not be tolerated.
Programs or events that may generate, or require, loud noises must be approved by the Office of Student Activities, Student Affairs, and/or Facilities Office.
Quiet hours are in effect from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, quiet hours are in effect from 12 midnight to 10 a.m.
